He’s come a long way from the nights of frying up mozzarella sticks in the back room of an obscure comedy club in the Boston suburbs. He was a college student, using that part-time job to study the craft of stand-up comedy by catching glimpses of the performers on stage.
Today, Steve Bjork is a polished veteran of the highly competitive Boston comedy scene with crisscrossing tours of the country under his belt. His material is intelligent; sometimes absurd, and always accessible, but first and foremost it is funny. What truly sets him apart from the teeming crowd of today’s comedians is that you never have to ask Bjork to work ‘clean.’

Shawn Ruiz, Mystaru is quickly becoming a comedy name all over New England and can be seen pretty much every night of the week at a venue near you! Shaw was a 2023 contestant in Merrimack Valleys Funniest Person Contest and was selected in 2024 to compete in the Boston Comedy Festival. Shawn produces a podcast and a Monday night show with fellow comics Tommy Wirez and Jay Gillespie that is quickly growing into a Monday night hot spot

As the “funny kid” in school, Jason had always dreamed of making it in comedy. He found that whenever he was having a rough day, making people laugh always put a smile back on his face. With the support of his wife and daughters, Jason decided to pursue his ultimate goal. Starting with open mics in 2018, he soon began to feature at comedy clubs around the New England area. You may recognize him from Giggle’s Comedy Club, Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge, Headliner’s Comedy Club, and Nick’s Comedy Stop. It wasn’t long until he started working with some other comics in the area, such as Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Tony V, Christine Hurley, and many more!
